PAULA PINGEL

Care Delivery Operations

As the Director of Operations, I had full P&L responsibility for a $20M revenue business unit and led 140 employees (senior managers, program managers, quality managers, and associates) in providing strategic design and delivery of programs that continuously improve patient access to pharmaceutical products and adherence to therapy. Worked with Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to develop customized patient access programs for new pharmaceutical clients; partnered with providers, patients, advocates, and payers to deliver quality therapeutic programs. Managed day-to-day business unit operations and annual budget to ensure smooth work progress of all units involved, including scheduling, medical billing, benefits verification, and denied claims assistance.

Results: Delivered annual projected program and business unit revenue; created and facilitated quarterly reports to clients and senior leadership.

As the Health, Safety, and Environment Director, I led a global team of six direct reports from China, Mexico, the US, Japan, Ireland, and Britain in the management and implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards relating to products and manufacturing for the $800 million Digital Imaging business.

Results: Led team through the development of global strategies to reduce manufacturer waste and distribution of expensive chemical components, saving the business more than $25 million. Acted as a core member on two separate Leadership Emerging Markets Teams, successfully completing the construction of three compact disc manufacturing sites in Ireland, England, and Mexico on schedule and under budget, leading to a 30% supply increase.
