Management and Support Structures
As the Deputy Director, I led the North Carolina start-up and 60-employee cross-functional team in the business development and operationalization of a statewide, multi-year public health initiative to improve access to contraception and reduce unplanned pregnancies across North Carolina. This includes business infrastructure build and management across our NC teams (Partnerships, Quality Improvement, Training, Measurements, Evaluations, and Learning) to provide health centers with technical assistance and training that will expand equitable same-day access to a full range of contraceptive options, leading to improved health and community outcomes.
Results: Created the organizational structure and processes and implemented cross-functional training that delivered on first-year sales goals during pandemic uncertainties.
As the President, Chinon America, I was promoted to lead a team of three executives from across the business landscape to acquire and dissolve a $35 million Japanese Kodak subsidiary, Chinon America, Inc.
Results: Delivered 50% cost savings and 20% workforce reduction by directing legal, tax, funds collection, litigation, asset liquidation, and financial affairs of the $35 million acquisition and dissolution of Chinon American, Inc.
