New Business Development
As the leader of Global Business Development, I spearheaded a series of thought-provoking processes with a cross-functional leadership team to determine the optimal innovative business model. We collaborated with healthcare professionals to gauge the model’s value and feasibility. To champion our cause for the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes on Capitol Hill, I empowered the company’s Washington Lobbyists. I collaborated with the R&D team to understand the requirements for constructing the new imaging device. We underwent several processes to locate, interview, visit, consult, and select a reputable manufacturer. To secure reimbursement support from healthcare Payers for this new product, I collaborated with my team to deliver a business case that demonstrated the cost of treatment versus prevention
Results: The project was delivered on time and within budget. Designed and executed a new 65% margin equipment and software business for the acquisition, screening, diagnosis, and networking of retinal imaging medical devices.

Its mission is to reduce maternal morbidity and advance health equity through inclusive data analytics and collection, personalized patient education, and interventional care measures. MyLÚA Health’s predictive capabilities and patient-centric approach allow health plans and physicians to detect, escalate, and mitigate the risk of life-threatening maternal conditions. MyLÚA offers an Artificially Intelligent (AI), HIPAA-secure, digital health platform that engages patients, healthcare providers, and payers on a single system for pregnancy and postpartum care management. As a Startup Advisor for MyLÚA Health, I assist in the preparation of go-to-market and operations strategies to enable vision, mission, and goal attainments.
